You Get Clarity Through Output


I'd almost skipped a day two weeks ago.


Last thing at night though, I ended up forcing myself to write up some stuff. It was gonna be meh but whatever, I didn't want to break my streak.
That essay ended up being my most read essay so far.

Data-driven Writing

Step 1:
Throwing out a lot of stuff to see what sticks.
This is the only way to truly find out what people want.

Step 2:
Doubling down on the intersection between what people want and what I personally want to explore.

Step 3:
Rinse and repeat.


This simple virtuous cycle works.
In fact, it works so well that I"ll be continuing to write online, making what started out as a simple experiment into a permanent habit.
